Heavy equipment will be <br /> cleaned, as appropriate, before removal to the support Gone. <br /> it is the responsibility of the Field supervisor to make sure all <br /> pieces of heavy equipment coming off-site are properly <br /> decontaminated, according to the procedures outlined above. <br /> Documentation of decontamination must be made in the field log <br /> notebook that will then become part of the permanent project <br /> file. The equipment number must be written in the field lag <br /> notebook when the equipment is decontaminated and goea off-site <br /> with a notation that proper procedures have been followed. <br /> 4.8.2 Waste Disposal <br /> Disposable protective clothing, air purifying respirator <br /> cartridges and decontamination solution will be contained, <br /> bagged, labeled and secured for proper disposal, and disposed of <br /> according to applicable state and federal regulations. <br /> 4.9 WORK PRACTICE CONTROL <br /> The work practices that will be implemented on this construction <br /> project are discussed in this section. <br /> 4.9.1 General Work Practices <br /> Only authorized personnel will be permitted in the work <br /> area.
