If the incident cannot be controlled by operating <br /> personnel without incurring undue risk, the Emergency Coordinator <br /> will order the evacuation of all workers at risk and notify the <br /> Fire Department (dial 911) of the situation and the asf.:lstance <br /> required and then notify appropriate parties listed in section <br /> 1.11.3.2. <br /> 4.11.4 .2 Worker Injury <br /> If an employee working in a contaminated area is physically <br /> injured, Red cross first-aid procedures will be followed. <br /> Depending on the severity of the injury, emergency medical <br /> response may be sought. If the employee can be removed, he/she <br /> will be removed from the source of contamination. <br /> Decontamination procedures, additional first aid, or preparation <br /> for transportation will be conducted at a safe distance from the <br /> work site. <br /> Personnel. decontamination procedures will be conducted as <br /> practical. Modification or omission of decontamination <br /> procedures may be necessary, depending on the severity of the <br /> 4-33 <br />
