Dry chemical fire extinguishers, with minimum 5A, 30BC ratings will be provided at all field <br /> work areas. All vehicles shall be equipped with minimum IA, 5BC rated fire extinguisher. <br /> Any trailers used as office or work space shall be provided with at least one 2A, 30BC rated <br /> fire extinguisher. <br /> In the case of a fire on the site, the Project FC will assess the situation and direct fie fighting <br /> activities. IT personnel trained in the use of extinguisher may attempt to extinguish the fire <br /> with available extinguishers, if safe to do so. <br /> 4.2.8 Sanitation <br /> iBreak Area <br /> A designated break area shall be established in the support zone. The break area shall contain <br /> drinking water and be arranged to provide shade to workers during hot weather (>857F ). <br /> Potable Water <br /> The following rules apply for all field operations: <br /> • An adequate supply of potable water shall be provided; <br /> • Portable containers used to dispense drinking water shall be capable of being <br /> tightly closed, and equipped with a tap; <br /> • All containers used for drinking water shall be clearly marked and not used for <br /> any other purpose; and <br /> • Disposable cups will be supplied; both a sanitary container for unused cups and <br /> a receptacle for disposing of used cups shall be provided. <br /> Outlets for g2npatable water shall be identified to clearly indicate that the water is unsafe and � <br /> is not to be used for drinking or washing. There shall be no crass connection (open or <br /> potential) between potable and nonpotable water systems. Nonpotable and potable water <br /> systems shall be physically separated so as to minimize confusion and possible cross <br /> contamination. <br /> Toilet Facllftles <br /> A minimum of one separate toilet facility shall be provided for each 20 employees, or <br /> fraction thereof, of each sex. Such facilities may include both urinals and toilets, with the <br /> provision that the number of toilets is at least half of the minimum required number of <br /> M 0-S-M94IUS 944X)64 4-12 <br />
