AERO TURBINE
- 3355 FOSTORIA WAY, SAN RAMON, CA. 94583 (415) 866-1112
November 16, 1987 -
San Joaquin County _
Department of Planning and Building Inspection
1818 E. Hazelton Ave .
Stockton , CA 95285
Attn : Kitty Walker
Reference : Environmental Review for GP-88-12, ZR-88-18 , & WC-88-2
Dear Ms. Walker ,
I would like to respond to your letter of October 16, 1987,
written to Howard Seligman . A number of questions were asked as to the
size of our planned project and to the physical operations of Aero
Turbine . I will try, to the best of my ability and with the best
information I have available at this moment , to answer your questions
in the order in which they were asked.
M
a. Type and size of the physical operation for initial as
well as future expansions?
The initial operations will begin on a ten acre parcel .
This will consist of two buildings. One next to the
other . One building will be shop area consisting of
approximately 56 ,488 square feet . The other building will
be a hangar consisting of approximately 33,686 square
feet . These buildings will be of metal or concrete
construction . The actual type of building will be
determined at a future date . This will be determined by
the recommendations of an airport architect , cost ,
appearance , and environmental considerations. Future
expansions would call for the full development of the
entire parcel . These expansions would be for the future
development of Aero Turbine' s operations and/or like
businesses which are compatible with the operations of
the Stockton airport .
b. Height and bulk of structures?
Our initial plan is to have a hangar which is 216 feet by
166 feet and is 78 feet in height . The shop will be 346
feet by 210 feet and will be 30 feet in height .
