SAN ,J O A Q i I I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY--- - <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> G&L BROCK CONSTRUCTION CO INC 4145 CALLOWAY CIR, STOCKTON January 23, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Oil spills were observed on top of the used oil tank and two blue metal 55 gallon drums of new oil. <br /> A used oil filter was observed on top of used oil tank. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment, <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by cleaning up the oil spills and putting <br /> the used oil filter in the correct hazardous waste container. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily solids was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without <br /> hazardous properties and an incorrect accumulation start date of 512212018. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", .name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by completely labeling all hazardous <br /> waste containers. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by February 24, 2020. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
