NAVCOM 7 30 August 1990
water level measurements at the five surface water locations. The surface
water locations include two internal drainage sample stations (one
associated with the landfill area and one with the fire fighting area) , one
duck pond station, and two stations in Burns Cutoff, downstream from the
pumping station discharge point.
I recommend that (1) an additional upstream sampling station be located on
Burns Cutoff, upstream of the pumping station discharge to Burns Cutoff, (2)
that the chemical analyses also include BTXE, inorganics (sulfate and
chloride) , specific conductance, TDS, metals, and pesticides, and (3) that
the pumping station discharge samples, where possible, be 24-hour flow
weighted composited samples.
