Project 2703.4053$.0031 <br /> Attentionv Ms. Linda Turkatte <br /> This Addendum to Work Plan letter is to request approval of additional work, supplementing our <br /> original work plan submitted to you on July 18, 1994. The purpose of the additional work is to <br /> establish groundwater conditions, in order to support our limited subsurface soil investigation as <br /> a pan of an environmental assessment of the Fresh Strut Bakeries located at 920 North Shaw Read, <br /> Stockton, California. <br /> The additional work we are proposing is the extension of one of the 30-foot soil borings referenced <br /> in Section 2.4 of the work plan to groundwater(approximately 60 feet below ground surface) and <br /> obtain a groundwater sample at that location using a HydroPunch sarnpler. <br /> When groundwater is encoturtered in the boring, we will collect groundwater samples using a <br /> HydroI'unch sampling device. Tile HydroP"uneb sampler will be driven into saturated soil using <br /> the hanTnier of the drill rig. The sampler will be opened to allow the groundwater to enter the <br /> sampler through a screen.
