MONITORING WELL COMPLETION <br /> Pilot borings MW-1 through MW-3 will be completed as 2-inch diameter ground water monitoring <br /> wells. Procedures for well completion are detailed in Section 4.3. <br /> V <br /> 3.4. WELL DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br /> Following well installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the <br /> amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing.After development, <br /> the top of each well casing(well head)will be surveyed to determine its elevation relative to mean <br /> 6W sea level. Procedures for well development and survey are presented in Section 4.4. <br /> 3.5. GROUND WATER MONITORING AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground water monitoring of each newly installed ground water monitoring well will be conducted <br /> on a quarterly basis unless an alternate schedule or suspension of monitoring is approved by the <br /> EHD. Ground water monitoring activities will include recording depth to ground water <br /> measurements and collection of ground water samples.Ground water sample collection procedures <br /> are described in Section 4.5. Ground water samples will be analyzed by a State of California DHS- <br /> certified laboratory for the same constituents listed in Section 3.2. <br /> 3.6. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Following the completion of soil borings, well installation and initial monitoring of the newly <br /> installed wells,a report will be prepared presenting the findings.The report will include a description <br /> of work performed and the results of soil and ground water sampling and analysis.Laboratory reports <br /> for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) <br /> reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a quarterly report. <br /> Conclusions and recommendations will also be included in the reports,if applicable.The report will <br /> be in a format acceptable to EHD and the CRWQCB, and will be reviewed and signed by a <br /> California Registered Geologist. <br /> V <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br /> V <br />
