' Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2005
PREM DOR
' 433 West Scotts Avenue, Stockton, California
' 1.0. INTRODUCTION
At the request of Dr Sonya Olbrantz of Masonite International/Prem Dor, Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at
433 West Scotts Avenue, Stockton, California (site) The scope of work included the quarterly
monitoring of five ground water monitoring wells, submission of analytical data to the State Water
Resources Control Board's GeoTracker information management system, and preparation of this
report The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, borings, and
monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Additional site background information is
provided in Appendix A
I2.0. PROCEDURES
On 12 September 2005,ground water monitoring was performed on monitoring wells MW-1 through
MW-5 Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines issued by the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the sampling of ground water monitoring wells and
• Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation
of underground storage tank (UST) sites
2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
I The depth to ground water in each monitoring well was measured from the top of the well casing to
the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground water elevation in each well was
calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing elevation
I (Table 1)
After water levels were measured, a Waterra inertia pump and dedicated tubing was used to purge
Iwells MW-1 through MW-5 of approximately 7 5 to 8 gallons of water(a minimum of three casing
water volumes per well) Ground water temperature,pH,and conductivity were measured at regular
' intervals for stabilization during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are
included in Appendix B Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled, Department of
Transportation(DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums
22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
IWater samples were collected from each purged well using a dedicated inertia pump hose after
allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume Each water
Advanced GeoEnv:ronmental,Inc
