Three, locations (Borings 3, 6, and 9) were selected in
j areas of known contamination to determine the vertical extent
r of contamination. Seven other sampling locations were
z selected around the pez•imeter to provide a preliminary
assessment of the horizontal extent of contamination.
W Borings were drilled using a truck-mounted drilling rig
equipped with continuous flight augers. All drilling and
i
sampling equipment was steam cleaned prior to drilling each
boring to prevent contamination between borings. Borings
were logged in accordance with the.
