<br /> Dear Ms. Winner:
<br /> Condor is submitting this letter on behalf of Shea Mountain House, LLC (Project Proponent) requesting
<br /> DTSC concurrence on interim project planning. Condor has collected confirmation samples following
<br /> several stages of excavation. Laboratory analytical results indicate the cleanup goal has been achieved in
<br /> the following subparcels (Figure A, Attachment A): C38, C39, C40, C41, C5, C8, C12, C13, C18, C19,
<br /> C20, C25, C26, C27, C34, C35, C36, and C37. The grading plan for the project development calls for a
<br /> cut condition (lower grade) in subparcels C38, C39, C40, and C41, and a fill condition (raised grade) in
<br /> the eastern portion of the site. The Proponent requests DTSC concurrence to remove soil from the cut
<br /> subparcels noted above and place as fill on subparcels C18, C19, C20, C25, C26, C27, C34, C35, and
<br /> C36. The haul route for the graded soil will not traverse the remaining dieldrin removal areas (Figure B,
<br /> Attachment A).
<br /> Additional deildrin-impacted soil removal is necessary in the southern portion of subparcel C28, and the
<br /> proposed dieldrin haul route will traverse previously confirmed subparcels C28, C13, and C12. Once
<br /> removal of soil on C28 is completed, the dieldrin haul route soil will be removed and additional
<br /> confirmation samples will be collected and analyzed as shown on Figure B,Attachment A.
<br /> This interim plan is essential to maintain forward progress on the project and keep deployed resources
<br /> running efficiently to control project expenses. Please indicate your concurrence with this interim plan as
<br /> soon as possible. If you have any further questions, concerns,or comments,please contact me. We greatly
