The EHD had requested the work plan by letter
dated 09 January 2012.
In the work plan, your consulting firm, ATC Associates Inc. (ATC), has proposed over-drilling
monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-3 using eight-inch augers, and pressure grouting MW-1.
MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6. Although the work plan does not address the amount of pressure or
duration of the pressure, the EHD directs that the grout be applied under liquid pressure of 25
pounds per square inch (psi) for a minimum of ten minutes. With this condition, the EHD
approves the work plan as submitted.
Please submit a completed Master File Record form, a Well and Boring Permit Application
form, and a permit/inspection fee of $1,125.00. Notify the EHD of pending fieldwork at least a
week prior to the well destructions.
If you have any questions, please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-9852 or by email at
vmccartney@sjcehd.com.
Sincerely,
Victoria L.
