ATTACIMENT TO INITIAL STUDY FOR UP-92-20
3 b. Plant Life
A survey of the Natural Diversity Data Base indicates that the
Slough Thistle (cirsium crassicaule) (Federal: Candidate 2)was seen
in 1933 in shallow water of a canal of the San Joaquin River, 2
miles northwest of Lathrop Bridge. The Thistle was searched for
in 1974 but not found. It is unlikely that this project would have
any impact on the Thistle.
9 d. Flight Path
This site is located near the Sharp Army Depot which has some
helicopter flights. This is not considered a significant impact.
13 b. Conflict with adopted plans.
This project is being processed pursuant to the 1995 General Plan
and Planning Title. The 2010 General Plan shows this site as
General Commercial. If that does not change, this use, if approved,
would be a "legal, non-conforming" use. This, however, does not
present significant environmental issues.
Initial Study (Rev: 01/91)
9
