The City of Lathrop is currently constructing a
skate park and the monitoring well closest to 70'Street is in direct conflict with the concrete
slab. The monitoring well should be moved approximately 6 feet north to avoid conflicts
and to remove it from the City's skate park property and into the L Street right of way.
The existing monitoring well should be abandoned in accordance with applicable State and
San Joaquin County requirements.
A no cost encroachment permit will be issued by the City to allow the relocation of the
monitoring well.
The other monitoring well is not in conflict with the currently proposed skate park
improvements, however;it may need to be relocated at a later date.
Should you have any-questions, please contact Jim Costantini at(209) 858-2860,Ext 328,the
staff member directly involved with this project,
3S 1 ,
Cary
Publi Works Director
Copy: -Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Jim Costantini, Public Works
Sunny Acevedo,Public Work
Kevin Connell,Public Works
16775 Howland Road, Lathrop, California 95330 Nnvw.cilarlvoo.ea.us
r:ia„erxwork3iT Twzeftr,x&C&MdCfto¢auao FWTMPrme-Le7zxdor
