Revision of Approved Actions
Weststyn Farms
1 . Description of proposed Revisions:
a. Revise final finished grade to have an average elevation
of 14 . 1 (was originally 14 . 8) .
b. Revise condition #10 to show that the permit expires on
September 10, 1994 (was originally September 10, 1992) .
2 . State the facts showing the changes in circumstances which
make the subject condition(s) of approval no longer
appropriate or necessary:
a. The original engineer for the project is no longer in
private practice. The new surveyor for the project
checked the surrounding elevations and determined that
the average elevation of the land within 100 ' of the
property is actually 14 . 1.
b. The entire site is a large farm with diverse crops that
are grown in different sections of the property
(vineyards, row crops, and different types of orchards) .
There are also boundaries created by irrigation pipelines
and roads that create logical separations between the
different types of agriculture. In order to maximize the
agricultural capability, each area was excavated
separately. The excavation has progressed logically to
date, and the time extension is needed to be able to
first obtain the grape crop from phase 2 and then be able
to progress with the removal of the orchard in phase 6.
