I
Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
23 March 2006
AGE-NC Project No. 98-0511
Mr.Michael Infurna
San Joaquin County Public Health Services-Environmental Health Division
304 East Weber Avenue,Third Floor
Stockton,CA 95201
Subject: Work Status Notification
LANGSTON'S MARKET
15615 South T° Street,Lathrop,California
Dear Mr. hifurna:
As stated in the Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.(AGE)letter dated 09 February 2006,the AGE-prepared
Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 30 September 2005,could not be completed due to financial
hardship on the part of the client,Mr.James Langston;the additional assessment on Union Pacific Railroad
property could not be completed without additional, non-reimbursable funds required by the railroad to
perform work on its property. However,AGE has proceeded with completion of corrective action plan(CAP)
that will be based on a site conceptual model that is constraint by all available geologic and hydrogeologic
data dating back to 1991.In the site conceptual model,AGE will include arguments for a maximum easter
limit of lateral soil contamination, show trend analyses of declining contaminant concentrations over time
and projected contaminant-level compliance dates, and provide a fate and transport model.
At the present time, most of the modeling work has been completed;however,to better constrain the fate and
transport model,AGE is recommending performance of a slug test at several of the site monitoring wells to
acquire hydraulic conductivity data. Once the additional data has been acquired, AGE anticipates that
completion of the CAP would require an additional one to two weeks to complete determination of remedial
alternatives and writing of the CAP;AGE will submit the CAP before 01 May.2006.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at(209)467-1006.
Sincerely, ONJOAMMCOLMY
041ROWMALVOLTHOMMMOW
Advanced GeoEnviro_ 1,Inc 3MEWEINE1lAWTHIRD FLOW
CA4Vtf' } 1 ✓fCCKfONf6lOE
* eta;73Lf gpppyM
Calvin F.Lee t1` AppONOW11111M11111111111 M
Senior Project Geologist }
Rem ft r...w.ww .+■f■
cc: Mr. James Langston w
ApprOinleAwfto*fAp1*4AbdlownaaddMeM/
837 Shaw Road.Stockton,Cal" tW.I b does ttpt Now P I WIN "I WV 111 @"*r.
Telephone(209)IG7-.1006 Pas 9a4`rl .}S equirements of state Ime or kwal otdirmim.
