(AGE)has prepared the <br /> enclosed work plan for the former Langston's Market at 15615 South Th Street,Lathrop,California. <br /> AGE proposes to advance up to three soil probe borings for collection of soil and `grab' ground <br /> water samples and, if necessary, install a ground water monitoring well to further assess high <br /> concentrations ofpetroleum hydrocarbons detected in ground water samples collected along the east <br /> side of the site during a November 2001 site investigation. <br /> Upon approval of the work plan by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD),AGE will submit an application for drilling permit and permit fee;a site-specific health and <br /> safety plan is already on file. In addition,the EHD-approved work plan will be submitted to Union <br /> Pacific Railroad Company (UPR), accompanied by application and insurance fees, for UPR's <br /> approval and determination of additional access/work fees, prior to initiation of work.
