The Site <br /> is bounded by a residence to the west, the police department to the north, 7th Street to the east <br /> and East L Street to the south. The surrounding land use is mixed residential and commercial. <br /> Site History/Assessments <br /> In June 1990, site tanks failed a tank tightness test. To date, ten monitoring wells have been <br /> installed and monitored irregularly. A Site map showing the location of the former USTs, <br /> monitoring wells and groundwater level contours is provided at the end of this five year <br /> summary. <br /> Remediation Summary <br /> • Free Product: No free product was documented throughout the life of this case <br /> • Soil Excavation: An estimated 3,000 tons of impacted soil was removed and disposed <br /> offsite in August 1995 <br /> • In-Situ Soil Remediation: No soil remediation has been conducted <br />
