This resolution directs the Regional Water Boards and LOP (Local
Oversight Program) agencies that oversee the UST (underground storage tank) Clean Up
Program to reduce quarterly groundwater monitoring requirements to semi-annual or less
frequent monitoring at all sites unless site-specific needs warrant otherwise.
The above subject site is currently listed with the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (EHD) LOP program. This letter is to inform you that per SWRCB
resolution #2009-0042, you are to reduce sampling of all monitoring wells currently on a
quarterly sampling schedule to the following schedule:
• Monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-5 and dual phase wells DPE-1 and DPE-2 to
semi-annual sampling for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg),
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), and methyl tert-butyl ether
(MtBE) during the second and fourth quarters starting 2009.
• The remaining monitoring wells are to be sampled biennially for the same
constituents on the second quarter starting 2011.
If you have any questions, please call Michael Infurna at (209)468-3454.
iiirGri (/J 0
Michael J.
