Seventh St. APN: 196-250-52
Lathrop, CA 95330 SWRCB-CUF #:0367
On April 23, 2009, a meeting was held at the office of the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (EHD). Attending the meeting were Ms. Jan Hendricksen, your consultant,
Mr. William Little and Ms. Ally Colavita of Advanced GeoEnvironmental and Mr. Nuel
Henderson, Ms. Margaret Lagorio, and Mr. Michael Infurna, representing the EHD.
The meeting was held to discuss the status of the site's approved remedial action for ground
water extraction that has not been enacted. At the meeting, the EHD was advised of the State
Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Clean Up Fund's (CUF) delay of reimbursement to
you for corrective action costs and that you cannot afford to complete the construction of the
ground water extraction system or pay the City of Lathrop fees for discharge of the treated
ground water to their sewer lines. As a result, no progress towards remediation of the ground
water at your site has been made.
In order to reduce remediation costs, it was agreed at the meeting that a Feasibility Study would
be submitted to the EHD. This study would evaluate potentially feasible remedial options for
this site and recommend one that is feasible and cost effective. The Feasibility Study would be
submitted to Geotracker for the EHD review by June 30, 2009.
Thank you for your continued cooperation with investigating your site. Please contact Michael
Infurna at (209)468-344you have any questions.
/,4t4 - Z
Michael J.
