Excavation History On March 31 , 1992, a 10,000 gallon underground i <br /> gasoline tarok was excavated and removed at the rear of the above address. Soil <br /> samples taken from the excavation at the time showed non-detectable for all <br /> constituents of .gasoline. Soil samples were taken at a depth of 12 to 14 feet. <br /> Soil samples were not taken from the pump locatidn; .however, some minor contam- <br /> ination was noted and removed. The pump was located to the east of the excava- <br /> tion.a distance of less than 10 feet (see attached drawing) . The contaminated <br /> soil was mixed with the rest of the excavated soil and stockpiled on site. t <br /> Soil samples were taken from the stockpiled material . The sample taken from <br /> the West 'end of the stockpile showed non-detectable for all constituents of <br /> gasoline. The East sample showed levels of Toluene,, , Ethylbenzene <br /> (6.0 .mg/kg) , Xylene (166.5 mg/kg) and TPH:-Gasoline1620. mg/kg After sampling <br /> was completed all spoil was returned to the excavation ered with clean <br /> fill . The approximate size of the excavation while open was 12 feet wide by <br /> 30 feet long by 12 feet deep. <br />
