(AES),in response to correspondence from the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services,Environmental Health Division, dated January 22, 2001,is pleased to enclose one copy of <br /> our Problem Assessment Report(PAR),including the quarterly groundwater data from the first and second <br /> quarters of 2001. <br /> PROJECT OBJECTINES <br /> This Problem Assessment Report his four Ti4n objectives: <br /> 0 Assess the current levels of hydrocarbons in the soil and groundwater at the site due to a <br /> previously removed underground storage tank(UST). <br /> 0 Use historic data,as well as the analysis from the most recent quarterly groundwater <br /> gauging and sampling event,to assess the stability of the groundwater plume. <br /> 0 Determine the lateral and vertical extent of the current levels of hydrocarbons in the <br /> Site's groundwater and soil. <br /> 0 Propose remedial actions to clean up the above:reference site. <br /> The enclosed report presents a site history, field observations,results, conclusions and recommendations <br /> for additional work.
