Thus, the overall uptime since system start-up has improved from approximately 84%
to 89%
IRECOMMENDATIONS
IDelta recommends the following for the Former Canteen Facility
• Continue groundwater monitoring and reporting, including measurement of depth to
groundwater in each well, evaluating monitor well status, preparation of a
potentiometnc surface contour map containing the calculated gradient and
approximate rate of groundwater movement, and, preparation of isoconcentration
contour maps for benzene and TPH(g) at the two different screened aquifer depths.
• The schedule for groundwater monitoring will remain as follows
IQuarterly Monitoring Annual Monitoring
(154, 2nd, and 3rd Quarters) (4t1' Quarter)
I
MW-3, MW-3A, MW-313, MW-I 1 All Wells
MW-13, MW-13A, MW-13B
Each well will be gauged quarterly If an analyte is not detected by the laboratory for
I two consecutive quarters, then that analyte will only be monitored for during the
annual event Delta understands that should a removed analyte be detected in a
monitor well during annual monitoring, quarterly monitoring and analysis will resume
I for that well Groundwater monitoring will be performed during the second month of
each quarter and quarterly momtornnf reports will be submitted to the appropriate
County and State agencies by the 154 of the first month following the end of each
quarter
• Continue operation of the soil and groundwater remediation system and conduct
weekly operation and maintenance activities Influent and effluent air samples will be
collected periodically for laboratory analysis to assess the extraction and treatment
efficiency of the remediation system The remediation system operation and
Imaintenance activities and sampling results will be reported in the Quarterly
• Groundwater Monitoring Reports
I
I
