AES-Regulatory Services, Inc (AES-RS), through our parent company Applied Earth Sciences, <br /> Inc (AES), was retained by Compass Group USA, Inc (Compass), to conduct quarterly <br /> groundwater gauging and sampling on the property located at 1500 Shaw Road in Stockton, <br /> California (Site) (Figure 1) This quarterly sampling event was conducted in order to provide a <br /> Quarterly Monitoring Report of the impacted groundwater at the Site, in accordance with State of <br /> California regulations <br /> PROJECT OBJECTIVES <br /> The objectives for the 2003 Third Quarterly Monitoring Report were to assess the concentrations <br /> of hydrocarbons in Site groundwater due to the former presence of underground storage tanks <br /> (USTs) and assess the stability of the groundwater plume The following were conducted during <br /> this quarterly assessment <br /> Gauged each Site monitor well (August 13, 2003) to evaluate the presence or absence of <br /> free product and to measure groundwater elevations Groundwater monitoring wells MW- <br /> 1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-3A, MW-3D, MW-4 through MW-13, MW-13A and MW-13B <br /> were gauged Monitoring well MW-13 was dry <br /> Purged six Site monitor wells (MW-3, MW-3A, MW-3D, MW-11, MW-13A, and MW- <br /> 13B) by removing a minimum of three well volumes using a submersible purge pump or <br /> disposable bailer <br /> 9009 Mountain Ridge Drive Suite 110 • Austin, Texas 78759 u Tel (512) 990-7467 e Fax (512) 990-7399 <br />
