Advanced <br /> GeoEnvlronmental, Inc. =0 <br />' 24 April 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0612 <br /> Mr Enc Muehlberger <br />' Applied Earth Sciences <br /> 2013 Wells Branch Parkway, Suite 206 <br /> IAustin, TX 78728 <br /> Subject: Sensitive Receptor Survey, <br /> FORMER CANTEEN CORPORATION FACILITY <br /> 1500 Shaw Road, Stockton, California <br /> M1 <br /> Dear Mr Muehlberger <br /> lit At your request,Advarced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has conducted a sensitive receptor survey <br /> as part of the initial site characterization requirements under the California Code of Regulations - <br /> Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16, Section 2654 for the site located at 1500 Shaw Road, Stockton, <br /> California (the site) Enclosed are additional copies of the report for your submittal_to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)and to the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) The objective of the survey was to identify and locate <br /> sensitive receptors,including wells and other vertical conduits,potentially affected by a UST release <br /> The scope of work included 1) reviewing State of Califorrua Department of Water Resources <br /> records and EHD records, 2) conducting a visual area reconnaissance for municipal, domestic, <br /> irrigation or ground water monitonng wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the site as well as septic <br /> systems located on the site and 3) contacting local utility service companies to confirm water and <br /> Isewer service in the area of the site and locations of municipal wells The location of the site and the <br /> immediately surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> On 26 March 2002, an AGE representative reviewed well drillers' reports at the California <br /> Department of Water Resources-Central District for water wells located within a 2,000-foot radius <br /> I of the site,records for 4 water wells were identified Copies of the well dnller's reports are included <br /> in Appendix A, a summary of water wells located from the review of well-dnller's reports is <br /> included in Table 1, locations of the wells are depicted on Figure 1 <br /> I <br /> 5 <br /> I 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 95215 <br /> f Telephone (209) 467-1006 FAX(209) 467-1118 <br />
