PERSONNEL RESUMES Douglas S. Thompson. Mr. Thompson founded Penn Environmental in 1989 and is presently the Chairman and President of the company. He entered the environmental industry in 1987 as President of O'Connor McMahan, an Australian owned asbestos abatement company. Prior to his involvement in the environmental industry (1980-1987), Mr. Thompson was employed as an investment analyst with a venture capital firm in San Francisco, California. His primary responsibilities included the financing and development of new business ventures. Mr. Thompson graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Carolyn M. Henry. Ms. Henry received her degree in business economics at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Responsible for project management,field supervision and quality control,Ms.Henry has expertise in field and office techniques for asbestos consulting, environmental site assessments and remedial investigations. Ms. Henry has been project manager on numerous environmental site assessments dealing with a variety of property types. As a Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant, Ms. Henry performs asbestos surveys for residential and commercial properties. She manages all asbestos abatement projects from initiation through completion to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Robert Chew. Mr. Chew has work as a Geotechnical Engineer since 1979. His experience has been predominantly in the San Francisco Bay Area. Geotechnical projects he has managed included transportation, residential, commercial and high-rise developments with significant below-grade construction. Additional projects involved structures on hillsides and problems, such as landslides, expansive soils, compressible soils, liquefiable soils, and earthquake engineering. Mr. Chew has performed a variety Environmental engineering projects included environmental site assessment and groundwater well installation and monitoring, and soil and groundwater contamination studies. He is a licensed Civil Engineer,Geotechnical Engineer,and a Registered Environmental Assessor (R.E.A. #2593). Mr. Chew holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University, California. David Glick. Mr. Glick is responsible for the management of comprehensive geologic and hydrogeologic investigations. He has worked on projects throughout Northern and Central California. His responsibilities have included installation of groundwater and vadose monitoring/extraction wells l-systems related to leaking underground fuel and solvent storage tanks and surface releases. He has designed and installed remedial systems for groundwater and soil remediation projects, including vapor extraction, air stripping, bioremediation and combined systems. He is a Registered Geologist, Certified Engineering Geologist, and a Registered Environmental Assessor. Mr. Glick holds a B.S. in Geology from San Diego State University, California.
