PERSONNEL RESUMES <br /> Douglas S. Thompson. Mr. Thompson founded Penn Environmental in 1989 and is presently the <br /> Chairman and President of the company. He entered the environmental industry in 1987 as <br /> President of O'Connor McMahan, an Australian owned asbestos abatement company. Prior to his <br /> involvement in the environmental industry (1980-1987), Mr. Thompson was employed as an <br /> investment analyst with a venture capital firm in San Francisco, California. His primary <br /> responsibilities included the financing and development of new business ventures. Mr. Thompson <br /> graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1980 with a Bachelor <br /> of Science degree in Business. <br /> Carolyn M. Henry. Ms. Henry received her degree in business economics at Villanova University in <br /> Pennsylvania. Responsible for project management,field supervision and quality control,Ms.Henry <br /> has expertise in field and office techniques for asbestos consulting, environmental site assessments <br /> and remedial investigations. Ms. Henry has been project manager on numerous environmental site <br /> assessments dealing with a variety of property types. As a Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos <br /> Consultant, Ms. Henry performs asbestos surveys for residential and commercial properties. She <br /> manages all asbestos abatement projects from initiation through completion to ensure compliance <br /> with all applicable regulatory requirements. <br /> Robert Chew. Mr. Chew has work as a Geotechnical Engineer since 1979. His experience has been <br /> predominantly in the San Francisco Bay Area. Geotechnical projects he has managed included <br /> transportation, residential, commercial and high-rise developments with significant below-grade <br /> construction. Additional projects involved structures on hillsides and problems, such as landslides, <br /> expansive soils, compressible soils, liquefiable soils, and earthquake engineering. Mr. Chew has <br /> performed a variety Environmental engineering projects included environmental site assessment and <br /> groundwater well installation and monitoring, and soil and groundwater contamination studies. He <br /> is a licensed Civil Engineer,Geotechnical Engineer,and a Registered Environmental Assessor (R.E.A. <br /> #2593). Mr. Chew holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University, <br /> California. <br /> David Glick. Mr. Glick is responsible for the management of comprehensive geologic and <br /> hydrogeologic investigations. He has worked on projects throughout Northern and Central <br /> California. His responsibilities have included installation of groundwater and vadose <br /> monitoring/extraction wells l-systems related to leaking underground fuel and solvent storage tanks <br /> and surface releases. He has designed and installed remedial systems for groundwater and soil <br /> remediation projects, including vapor extraction, air stripping, bioremediation and combined <br /> systems. He is a Registered Geologist, Certified Engineering Geologist, and a Registered <br /> Environmental Assessor. Mr. Glick holds a B.S. in Geology from San Diego State University, <br /> California. <br />
