Attachment to APF-20 Application
GeoAudit CV 43C4 . 1. 1
C. 4. Operating Schedule -- The unit will be in operation 24 hours
per day, seven days per week, twelve months per year, throughout
the duration of the mitigation.
C. S. Process Weil - The design parameters of the treatment unit
allow for 100 cfm of intake vapors. A more realistic estimate,
based on the lack of available subsurface oxygen, would be
approximately 70 cfm. The concentration of hydrocarbon vapors in
the intake stream is anticipated to be between 1, 000 and 2 , 000 ppm
for the concentrations which are present in the soil at this site.
The total concentration of TPH in the soil equals approximately
18 , 000 pounds of hydrocarbon contaminants; if the entire volume of
TPH is removed in one year, this equates to approximately 2 pounds
per hour entering the treatment unit.
C. 6. Fuels and Burners Used - The unit consumes approximately 200
cubic feet of natural gas per hour. The consumption rate depends on
the concentration of hydrocarbons in the well vapor.
' C. 7 . Flow Diagram - See Appendix 3 (attached)
C. 8 . Drawings of Equipment -- See Appendices 1 and 4 (attached)
1
i
M
