Ms. Jill Davis ENTEK
LUSD
12/7/20
Regulatory Requirements
The sampling of the materials located inside the ceramics classroom was to provide a waste
characterization of each material so they can be disposed of properly. Results of the sampling suggest
that metals present in samples ECG-20-5659-10M and ECG-20-5659-11M exceed the DTSC Title 22
regulatory criteria for hazardous waste and samples ECG-20-5659-16M has a high likelihood of
exceeding the DTSC Title 22 regulatory criteria for hazardous waste.
Any person handling these materials needs to have proper personal protective equipment and hazard
communication training. Each landfill has specific requirements for waste profiling and the contractor
conducting the removal should contact the landfill of choice prior to disposal.
Limitations
Entek's policy is to retain a full copy of these written documents for three (3) years once the file is closed.
At the end of the 3 year period the written files will be destroyed without further notice.
