Based on <br /> our review of the discussed items at the annual review meeting held on 25 April 2006, and our <br /> review of the Semi-Annual Report, the Regional Water Board staff has the following comments <br /> on both the meeting minutes and the Semi-Annual Report below: <br /> Summary 2006 Annual Review Meeting Minutes <br /> The Summary 2006 Annual Review Meeting Minutes summarized the 2006 Annual Review <br /> Meeting event held in April 2006 at the Regional Water Board's office located in Rancho <br /> Cordova. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the status and progress of OCC's <br /> groundwater remedial project at the 16777 Howland Road, Lathrop facility. Representatives <br /> that attended the meeting included: Ken Price and Frank Barone with Miller Springs <br /> Remediation Management, Inc. (MSRM); Tom Prevost and Tom Royse with CRA, a consultant <br /> for MSRM; Paul Horton with The Source Group, Inc. (SGI), a consultant for MSRM; and <br /> Steven Meeks and Cori Condon with the Regional Water Board. The agenda for the meeting <br /> covered a general review of the 2005 system operations, upper and lower aquifer organic and <br /> inorganic compound concentration trends for the remedial project, and treatment system <br /> optimization discussions. <br /> The following summarizes the items discussed at the 2006 annual review meeting as <br /> presented in the meeting minutes provided by CRA and provides some follow-up comments: <br /> 1. MSRM presented a brief historical overview of the groundwater treatment and <br /> reinjection system's operations and the operation of the remedial project as reported in <br /> the Groundwater Remedial Program, 2005 Annual Report. MSRM highlighted the <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> (rll Recycled Paper <br />
