After reviewing your October 23, 2006
letter,MSRMI would like to provide the following response.
As stated in the letter, the Board has requested the preparation of two work plans to be
submitted by December 15,2006. These plans are to address potential fumigant and Sulfolane
residual sources in the vicinity of monitoring well PW-18 and the use of supplemental treatment
in the existing groundwater treatment system. Given the level of effort that will be required to
adequately prepare these work plans;and that current efforts are focused on the completion of
the 2006 Annual Report,MSRMI would like to request an extension to the December 15, 2006
submittal date. MSRMI proposes that both work plans in a single combined plan,be submitted
to the Board by March 30,2007. In addition, a written response addressing the other items
outlined in your letter will be submitted at that time.
Regarding the 2006 Annual Report submittal date of February 01,2007 noted on page six of
your letter, both the Annual and Semi-Annual Report submittal dates have been extended by
two weeks, (i.e. February 15th and August 15th respectively). The approval of this extension was
documented in the 2005 Annual Review Meeting Minutes.
Equal EeEo o
Employment IS0 9001
Opportunity Employer EN—EE—G nC31e
Worldwide Engineering, Environmental, Construction, and IT Services
