SITE HEALTH & SAFETY PLS <br /> • Nearest water sources <br /> • Location of communication devices. <br /> 9. Personnel and equipment in restricted work areas should be limited to the number <br /> necessary to perform the task at hand. <br /> 10. All wastes generated during investigative activities at the site shall be disposed of as <br /> directed by the PM. <br /> 11. Inspect power cords for damage such as cuts and frays. Suspend cords only with <br /> nylon rope or plastic ties. <br /> 12. When in doubt of your safety, it is better to overprotect. <br /> 13. Practice defensive driving. <br /> 14. If site activities include the use of a drill rig, all on-site personnel should know the lo- <br /> cation of the "kill switch." <br /> 15. A first-aid kit and a type ABC fire extinguisher shall be kept at the site and/or in a <br /> field vehicle when performing field work. <br /> 6.0 AIR MONITORING <br /> The following air monitoring equipment will be used. <br /> ✓ Photoionization Detector(PID) <br /> Flame Ionization Detector (FID) <br /> Draeger Pump and Tubes (specify tubes) <br /> Combustible Gas Meter (CGM) <br /> Oxygen Meter (02) <br /> Dust (Particle) Meter <br /> Other (specify) <br /> The type and frequency of air monitoring for each work task is specified below.
