Attach additional sheets if necessary. State the basis of the appeal (list any findings of fact made by the Planning Commission which were wrong and the reasons why they are wrong ) . If you wish to appeal a specific condition list it and the reasons the condition should be changed' or removed: Finding No. 6, "This finding cannot be made because the proposed storm water pond may not be of adequate size to provide safe drainage" Mid-Valley Engineering has performed calculations according to the San Joaquin County "Manual for Storm Drainage Design, dated January, 1973", (the current adopted and re co nized criteria We disagree with_the Public Works Department opinion. State facts contrary to the decision (list any facts that support your appeal ) : The county public works department has prepared a proposed revision to the above manual. However, on several occasions !November 24, 1986, March 9, 1987, & April 23, 1987) , Mid-Valley Engineering has been told to utilize the adopted manual for storm drainage design. Until formally adopted by San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors, the manual for storm drain design dated January, 1973 is the standard. We are professional engineers and by ordinance would be the designers rather than the county public works department. To avoid the risk of a misunderstanding at the oard level we have revised the map to reflect Public Works Dept. concerns. I realize that this appeal will prevent action on this item from becoming effective and that no permits will be issued until final action on the appeal is taken.
