The plan was out of date <br /> and had the incorrect emergency coordinator information. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator,the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br /> telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by Darwin Featherstorn, Plant Manager, <br /> amending the plan. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 401 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to store hazardous waste in a container that is in good condition. <br /> OBSERVATION: In the hazardous waste storage area, one red 55 gallon steel drum containing used oil (3/4 full) <br /> had several large dents. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Hazardous waste shall be stored in a containers that are in good condition. If a <br /> container holding hazardous waste is not in good condition (e.g., severe rusting, apparent structural defects), or if it <br /> begins to leak,the owner or operator shall transfer the hazardous waste from this container to a container that is in <br /> good condition, or manage the waste in some other way that complies with the hazardous waste requirements. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately transfer all hazardous wastes into containers that are in good condition. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> FA0013601 PR0528444 SCO01 01/31/2020 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.9/20/2019 Page 4 of 6 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
