SONORA ST <br /> STOCKTON CA <br /> This letter confirms the completion of the tank removal investigation for underground storage tanks #1253-04, <br /> #1253-05, #1253-06 at the above site. With the provision that the information provided to this agency was <br /> accurate and representative of site conditions, no further action related to the underground tanks noted above <br /> is required at this time. <br /> Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any liability under the Cat ifornia Health and Safety <br /> Code or the Water Code for past, present or future operations at the site. Nor does it relieve you of the <br /> responsibility to clean up existing, additional or previously unidentified conditions at the site which cause <br /> or threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose a threat to water quality or public health. <br /> Please note that the following conditions exist at the above noted site. <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil and groundwater resulting from a release from other underground <br /> storage tanks (#1253-01, #1253-02, #1253-03) formerly located at the site. This contamination is <br /> currently undergoing investigation/ remediation. <br /> A residual amount of petroleum hydrocarbons identified as motor oil is being left in place at the <br /> former tank #1253-06 site. <br /> Additionally, please be advised that changes in the present or proposed use of the site may require further site <br /> characterization and mitigation activity.
