3.0 HISTORICAL REVIEW OF SITE AND VICINITY <br /> 3.1 HISTORICAL SUMMARY <br /> Reasonably ascertainable standard historical sources as outlined in ASTM Standard E1527-05 <br /> were used to determine previous uses and occupancies of the subject property that are likely to <br /> have led to RECs in connection with the subject property. The subject property is located in the east central portion of the former <br /> Spreckels Sugar site. The majority of the subject property was formerly occupied by <br /> wastewater ponds.
