��r&MA <br /> September 14, 1992 Working To Restore Nature <br /> Fire Engine Company No. 2, Stockton, California <br /> On September 9, 1992, Tom Morrow, Inc of West Sacramento, a licensed land surveyor, <br /> surveyed the locations of the piezometer, ground-water monitoring,pumping-test, and vapor- <br /> extraction wells, and the elevations of the piezometer, and monitoring and pumping-test <br /> wells to mean sea level A revised Generalized Site Plan and Potentiometric Map will be <br /> drafted using the surveyor's data, and used in reports prepared after September 15, 1992 <br /> We will measure water levels monthly during the remaining month of the third quarter of <br /> 1992 to confirm the ground-water flow direction <br /> SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The ground-water flow direction and gradient evaluated this event are consistent with the <br /> generalized trend, toward the north Hydrocarbon constituents were detected in all wells, <br /> this is the first quarterly sampling event that hydrocarbons have been detected in well MW- <br /> 3 Dissolved concentrations of benzene were above maximum contaminant levels in well <br /> MW-1 Benzene was only detected in the sample from well MW-1, at a concentration above <br /> Maximum Contaminant Levels For Contaminants In Drinking Water adopted by the <br /> Department of Health Services, California Code of Regulations Title 22 The next sampling <br /> event has been scheduled for the week of October 12, 1992 <br /> We recommend forwarding signed copies of this report to Ms Linda Turkatte of the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division, P O Box 2009, <br /> Stockton, California 95241, and Mr Gordon Boggs of the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, Central Valley Region, 3443 Routier Road, Sacramento California 95827- <br /> 3098 <br /> • 0717jesc <br /> 38009-a 3 <br />
