} <br /> ica!?ecfuxsu Iru Page 2 <br /> Ra n Ming <br /> rjcofog5 AbanilSdonment Report <br /> Project EVo 2532 <br /> April 25, 1996 <br /> • The total depth of the well was sounded and found to be ±42 feet below grade <br /> • A tremae pipe extending to the bottom of the well and pressure cap assembly <br /> was installed on the top of the well casing <br /> • A neat cement grout consisting of 6 bags of Type I/II portland cement was <br /> nixed with 5-6 gallons of clean water per bag <br /> • The neat cement grout was pumped into the well casing using a dual <br /> diaphragm pump Initially the standing water was displaced up through the <br /> vent in the pressure cap assembly Once the neat cement was observed to <br /> return through the vent, the vent was plugged and the neat cement grout was <br /> pressure installed into the well After the calculated amount of grout had <br /> been pumped into the well casing (3 6 cubic feet) additional grout was <br /> pumped in to fill the filter pack voids (1 9 cubic feet) <br /> • After the cement had been pumped the well boring was drilled out to a depth <br /> of 4 feet to remove any surface manifestation of the monitoring well This <br /> annulus was backfilled to 2 ft below grade with neat cement grout (±1 1 cubic <br /> feet) and finished with native soil to grade <br /> 3.0 SIGNATURES AND CERTIFICATION <br /> This project was performed by Geological Technics Inc in accordance with <br /> accepted geologic and hydrologic standards of the State of California accepted and <br /> in effect at the time of this investigation <br /> This report was prepared by: <br /> I-`M A"KA16�tg <br /> Timothy J McDonald <br /> Geologist <br /> Raynold I Kablanow II, Ph D <br /> Registered California Geologist #5234 <br /> Registered Environmental Assessor #901 <br />
