,j `
13975 Hwy. 88 n- - _ - 2'-` - `11'December 1998
Lockeford, San Joaquin County
Based on site constraints and non-detectable groundwater results, San Joaquin County believes that no
further action is necessary at this site.
Summary:
Diesel contamination was encountered below Tank#4,at 8.5 feet bgs. BTEX contamination was never
reported at,this site. Overexcavation activities appear to have removed contaminated soil to the extent
feasible;with non-detectable results reported for the confirmation soil samples. Additionally,' `
contaminant concentrations have not been reported in a nearby monitoring well.
Soil contaminatio.n appears to.have.been limited to the vicinity of_the former UST, and analytical results
of soil samples suggest that overexcavation activities were successful in removing contaminated soil.
Groundwater has been noted between 30 and 70 feet below ground surface near this parking garage. Site
activities are unlikely to pose a threat to water quality and concurrence with the County determination of
No Further Action Required appears warranted.
