Tank <br /> location 125 feet E. of Sutter Street and 5 feet S. of Market Street. <br /> 02/10/89 Field inspection revealed contaminated soils. <br /> UAR and Prop 65 filed this date. ' <br /> 02/2389 One 1200 gallon underground storage tank removed. <br /> Two soil samples collected (one each, east and west end of tank pit <br /> at 8.5 feet bsg). East sample analysis showed TPHd 110 ppm. <br /> 03/10/89 Limited over-excavation of tank pit area to approximately 14 feet <br /> bsg (20 cubic yards). Soil contamination observed by inspector. <br /> Two soil samples were collected, one bottom at 14 feet bsg and <br /> one sidewall at 13.5 feet bsg. Sample results were all non-detect, <br /> with notation of non-quantifiable late eluting C35-C28 hydrocarbons <br /> from the sidewall sample. , <br /> 02/28/94 Site placed in PHS/EHD L.O.P. <br /> 04/19/94 "Notice of Reimbursement" letter.sent to Dwayne Milnes, City of <br /> Stockton. <br /> 08/25/94 Proposal for limited soil assessment at site submitted to PHSIEHD <br /> by Kleinfelder, Inc. <br /> 09/19/94' Revised proposal submitted to PHS/EHD. <br /> 07/18/95 Meeting with City of Stockton and PHS/EHD. Proposed work at <br /> this site postponed at this time. <br /> 08/06/96 Meeting, proposed work discussed. <br /> 02/04/97 Meeting, proposed work and funding discussed. <br /> 10/26/98 Meeting, site and necessity of work discussed. City of Stockton <br /> requested another directive. <br /> 11/05/98 PHS/EHD decision to require no further work due to site constraints <br /> and results from nearby monitoring well (MW-8 from site at 145 S. <br /> Sutter, located 50 feet from former tank location). <br />
