In accordance with Section 1(h) of the "Standard Conditions Applicable to <br /> Revocable Permits," the permittee shall provide and keep in force during the <br /> term of the permit a policy of public liability insurance against liability for injuries j <br /> to persons or property arising out of accidents attributable to the structure on City <br /> property, in amounts to be determined by the Risk Manager. The policy of <br /> insurance so provided shall contain a contractual liability endorsement covering <br /> the liability assumed by the Permittee by the terms of his permit and shall contain <br /> a provision that such policy may not be canceled except after thirty (30) days I <br /> notice in writing to be given to the Risk Manager. The copies of these policies or <br /> certificates evidencing the same shall be filed with the Risk Manager of the City j <br /> after approval of the City Attorney. <br /> 5. The issuance of this permit by the City does not create any agency on the part of <br /> the permittee, and the permittee will hold the City of Stockton harmless for any <br /> action for damages arising out of the permittee's activities performed under this <br /> permit. <br /> 6. Permittee, or his contractor, shall obtain an Encroachment Permit for the <br /> installation of the well(s). <br /> 7. Future maintenance and/or removal of the well(s) shall require an additional <br /> Encroachment permit. <br /> 8. The well head(s) shall be covered with a meter box or valve box as approved by <br /> the City of Stockton. The top of the box shall be flush with the surrounding <br /> ground or concrete. <br /> 9. The provisions of the State of California, Department of Water Resources <br /> Bulletin 74-81 and 74-90 entitled "Water Well Standards: State of California" <br /> shall be applicable to this permit. <br /> 10. Construction operations that create loud noise shall be confined between the <br /> hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. <br /> 11 .
