CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. <br /> FOR <br /> BEN'S TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT, INC. , <br /> AND <br /> JERRY ARBINI <br /> SOIL TREATMENT FACILITY <br /> TEHAMA COUNTY <br /> NONHAZARDOUS SOLID WASTE MONITORING <br /> The Discharger shall monitor all wastes discharged to the treatment facility <br /> on a monthly basis and report to the Board as follows: <br /> Report in Reporting <br /> Parameter Units of Frequency <br /> Discharged <br /> Quantity Discharged Cubic Yards Monthly' <br /> Type of Material Discharged -- Monthly' <br /> Source(s) of Material Discharged -- Monthly' <br /> Location of Material Discharged Monthly' <br /> ' Monthly submittals are only required during active treatment <br /> months (May through September) . Submittals shall be on a <br /> quarterly basis during the remaining portion of the year. <br /> The location of material discharged may be submitted on a map of each treat- <br /> ment unit that clearly identifies the location of soil placement. <br /> WASTE TESTING FOR SITE ACCEPTANCE <br /> The following tests shall be performed on soil which is contaminated solely <br /> with gasoline in accordance with the frequencies listed below: <br /> - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline with analysis by Gas <br /> Chromatograph with Flame Ionization Detection (GCFID) and soil <br /> preparation by EPA Method 5030. If any of the tests show TPH <br /> greater than 1 ,000 mg/kg as gasoline, one bioassay and one ignitab- <br /> ility test must also be performed on the most highly contaminated <br /> composite of the soil . (A split of each soil sample should be <br /> archived and preserved for later testing in case this proves <br /> necessary. ) <br /> - Organic lead (DHS LUFT Method) . <br /> - TCLP for benzene (unless soil is from removal of an underground <br /> tank) . <br />
