MW
ATTACHMENT A
TECHNICAL PROPOSAL
STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
Our knowledge of the project is based on discussions with Mr.
Steve Pao, Mr. David Noe, and Mr. Ralph Edwards; and review of
the following reports:
o Kaprealian Engineering, Inc.
Subsurface Investigation of Soil and Groundwater
Mobil Station #10-NP4
2375 Tracy Boulevard
Tracy, California
April 15, 1987
o Kaprealian Engineering, Inc.
Supplemental Assessment of Soil and Groundwater
Mobil Service Station #10-NP4 located at the corner
of Tracy Boulevard and Grant Line 'Road
Tracy, -California
January 20, 1989
o Supplemental Assessment of Soil and Groundwater
Mobil Station #10-NP4 located at the corner of
Tracy Boulevard and 'Grantline Road_-
Tracy, California
September 12, 1986
Site conditions
The site is located on the southwest corner of Tracy Boulevard
and Grant Line Road in Tracy, California. Our understanding
of the hydrogeologic conditions at the site is derived from a
series of field investigations conducted by Kaprealian
Engineering, Inc. , (KEI) .
Our preliminary site remediation system design and cost
estimate is based on the following assumptions about site
conditions:
H dro eolo is Setting
o Soils encountered to depths of 20 feet below the site
predominantly consist of sandy silt to silty clay.
Poorly sorted gravel lenses may be present locally;
o Groundwater is present under unconfined conditions at j
depths of four to seven feet below ground surface.
