I
PROPOSAL FOR REMEDIATION SERVICES
t1 MOBIL SERVICE STATION #10-NP4
Lr TRACY, CALIFORNIA
withdrawn. The additional wells, together with scaling up of
various system components, would add about $30, 000 to the
first year cost.
Task 4 -. Permitting
The following agencies may need to be contacted regarding
permitting various site investigation and remediation
activities:
o City -of Tracy Department of Public Works - Building
permits, Encroachment permits, and Waste water discharge
permits, if needed;
o San Joaquin County LHD - Drilling and well permits, Soil
excavation and treatment permits, Groundwater treatment
permitting;
o San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District - Air
stripper operating permit; and
o RWQCB, Central Region - Groundwater discharge permit and
monitoring requirements.
Task 5 -- Regulatory Negotiations and Interaction
Various interactions with regulatory agencies may be
required. These include review of submitted remediation
design and negotiation of cleanup levels. our cost estimate
includes two meetings with regulatory agencies and various '
letters and telephone negotiations specific to these
meetings. We also assume that the regulatory agencies will i
require documentation to support our technical approach.
We will assign our in-house regulatory experts to this task. {
These professionals have successfully negotiated dozens of {
cleanup agreements, and saved our clients considerable time
and money.
 -8-
