QUARTERLY REPORT <br /> Station Number 11194 <br /> Site Address 2375 Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, California <br /> Consulting Company SECOR International, Inc — Ms Catherine Spelis <br /> SECOR Project No 77BP 50194 00 0436 and 77CP 60194 00 0002 <br /> Primary Agency/Contact San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD)1 Mr Harlin Knoll <br /> WORK PERFORMED THIS QUARTER [First-- 2006] <br /> 1 The first quarter 2006 groundwater monitoring event was performed on January 26, <br /> 2006 by Blaine Technical Services (BTS) <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER [Second —2006] <br /> 1 Groundwater monitoring and sampling event will be performed by SECOR <br /> 2 Prepare and submit the first quarter 2006 quarterly groundwater monitoring report <br /> 3 Prepare and submit a work plan addendum detailing further vertical delineation <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The site 1s located at the northwest corner of the intersection of N Tracy Boulevard and Grant Line <br /> Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1) The site formerly operated as a Mobile retail gasoline station <br /> Currently, the site is operating as a Seventy-Six (76) retail gasoline station <br /> In August 1986, four gasoline underground storage tanks (UST)s were removed and replaced Site <br /> investigations have been ongoing since 1986 A total of 14 groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 <br /> through MW-8, and AMW-1 through AMW-6) have been Installed at the site Well locations are <br /> shown 1n Figure 1 Well locations Include those drilled by former Chevron, former Scotty's, and <br /> Beyond Petroleum (BP) <br /> A pump and treat groundwater remediation system was operated at the site from 1992 until 1996 <br /> Post remediation groundwater monitoring showed increased methyl tert-butyl ether (MtBE) <br /> concentrations at MW-2 and AMW-5 <br /> Depth to groundwater at the site currently ranges from approximately 4 5 to 7 feet below ground <br /> surface (bgs) Groundwater flow direction beneath the site is to the northwest <br /> In a letter dated May 27, 2005, SJCEHD directed ARCO to submit a work plan to conduct a vertical <br /> assessment of groundwater contamination beneath the site, and define the lateral extent of <br /> groundwater contamination downgradient of monitoring well MW-7 <br /> On July 12, 2005, a work plan was submitted to the SJCEHD by URS for the additional <br /> assessment of groundwater contamination The Installation of one deep monitoring well (MW-9) <br /> and one dual completion monitoring well (MW-10SIMW-1OD) was proposed <br /> • <br /> 1 1BP-ARC0105 BP-COP Sites1111941Reports\QMRs111194 1Q06 QMR doc SECOR International incorporated <br />
