TITLE 9—DEVELOPMENT TITLE <br /> DIVISION 1 —GENERAL PROVISIONS. <br /> CHAPTER 9-110—DEFINITIONS. <br /> SECTION 9-110.4—DEFINITIONS <br /> Nuisance. Except as modified in Chapter 9-1110, "nuisance" means anything resulting from <br /> unreasonable or unlawful practices or from neglect which is or tends to be injurious to health, <br /> safety,-or public welfare, including an accumulation of,junk, or is so unsightly or offensive to the <br /> senses as to interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property. Additionally, <br /> "nuisance"means "nuisa.nce" as defined in County Ordinance Code Title 1 and any condition <br /> existing in violation of the Cotulty Ordinance Code, including this Title. <br /> Junk, Junk means, but is not limited to, any cast-off, damaged, discarded,junked, salvaged, <br /> scrapped, wail out or wrecked, thing or material including magazines, books, cardboard boxes, <br /> wood boxes, scrap lumber, trash, litter, refuse, paper, glass, cans, bottles, rags, ashes, trimmings <br /> from lawns,trimmings from plants, triminings from trees, discarded furniture, scrap metal, used <br /> tires, materials from demolition or alteration or construction of buildings or structures, or solid <br /> waste. <br /> DIVISION 19—ENFORCEMENT REGULATIONS <br /> CHAPTER 9-1900—ENFORCEMENT REGULATIONS: INTENT AND <br /> ORGANIZATION <br /> SECTION 9-1900.1 —TITLE AND INTENT. <br /> Division 19 constitutes 4-i+_-enforcement regulations. The intent of this Division is to ,,,•a <br /> for the enforcement of provisions of this Title.-to be used in addition to or as an alternative to <br /> Title 1. <br /> CHAPTER 9-1905—ENFORCEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT TITLE <br /> SECTION 9-1905.1 -INTENT AND PURPOSE. <br /> Pursuant to the authority granted to the Board of Supervisors in Government Code Sections <br /> 25845 and 53069.4, it is the intent and purpose of this Chapter to set forth the provisions for the <br /> enforcement of this Title (Ord. 3675..) in addition or as an alternative to Title 1. The procedures <br /> set forth in this Chapter are designed to ensure the due process rights of any affected property <br /> owner or other person having possession or control of the real property involved. This Chapter <br /> provides remedies which are in addition to and does not limit, preclude, waive or supersede any <br /> other criminal or civil remedy available by law for the enforcement of this Title or to abate any <br /> violation of this Title. <br /> 1 <br />
