The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for ST&E Roundhouse as of December24, 2019. <br /> Open violations from September 24, 2019 inspection <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance with the <br /> time frames and training materials required by this section. Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. The documentation must include a list of training <br /> topics, date of training,job title, name of employee, written job description (qualifications and duties), and employee <br /> signed (or certified) record that documents the training. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #601 -Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> OBSERVATION <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste diesel was observed in the shop without an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil observed in the shop was missing an accumulation start date <br /> -One white plastic 275 gallon tote of used oil was observed in the shop without an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal rectangular container of used oil filters was observed in the cage outside without an accumulation <br /> start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil filters was observed in the cage outside without an accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> No hazardous waste disposal records were available for review during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store <br /> waste on site up to 90 days. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest.
