Box 144 <br /> Linden, California 95236 <br /> Subject: Lopez Properties <br /> 1601 Turnpike Road <br /> Stockton, California 95206 <br /> By letter dated 6 March 2014, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> directed that operation of the soil vapor extraction system and ozone injection system cease <br /> and that monitoring and sampling of wells be terminated pending a response from the State <br /> Water Resources Control Board Cleanup Fund (CUF) to approve/disapprove at least one <br /> quarterly groundwater sampling event to test for rebound following suspension of operating the <br /> remediation systems. <br /> In Preliminary 5-Year Review Summary Report for Claim Number: 018245: Site Address: 1601 <br /> Turnpike Rd., Stockton, dated 6 March 2014, the CUF concurred with the EHD request to <br /> "conduct rebound monitoring following the suspension of active remediation to confirm Site <br /> conditions meet Policy guidelines'. Through an oversight, the EHD had not directed you to <br /> perform the rebound testing, but now directs that all twelve monitoring wells be sampling during <br /> the fourth quarter 2014. Analyze the groundwater samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), tertiary-amyl <br /> methyl ether (TAME) and 1,2-dichoroethane (1,2-DCA).
