This case meets all of the required criteria of the Policy. A summary evaluation of
compliance with the Policy is shown in Attachment 1: Compliance with State Water Board
Policies and State Law. The Conceptual Site Model upon which the evaluation of the case has
been made is described in Attachment 2: Summary of Basic Case Information (Conceptual
Site Model). Previous Recommendations are included in Attachment 3: Previous
Recommendations. Highlights of the case follow:
This case is an active commercial business. One 1,000-gallon gasoline UST was removed in
October 1987. An unauthorized release was reported in September 2003 following a site
investigation. Soil vapor extraction was conducted between June 2013 and September 2013 for a
total of 2,232 hours, which removed 340 pounds of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline
(TPHg). The rate of removal in September 2013 was approximately 2 pounds of TPHg per day.
Ozone injection was conducted between April 2013 and September 2013. Since 2004, 12
groundwater monitoring wells have been installed and monitored. According to groundwater data,
water quality objectives have not been achieved.
The petroleum release is limited to the soil and shallow groundwater. According to data available
in GeoTracker, there are no supply wells regulated by the California Department of Public Health
or surface water bodies within 1,000 feet of the defined plume boundary. No other water supply
wells have been identified within 1,000 feet of the defined plume boundary in files reviewed. Water
is provided to water users near the Site by the Stockton East Water District and California Water
FELICIA MARCUS,CHAIR I THOMAS HOWARD,EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
1001 1 Street.Sacramento,CA 85814 1 Meiling Address:P.O.BOX 100,Sacramento.Ca 85812-0100 1 W Ww.Weterboeros.ca.goH
%I RECYCLED PAPER
