We are so pleased that we are at this stage. We also received copies of a letter the County sent to Mom about the status. As pleased as we are with the fact that we are now near the corrective action stage, we are concerned about the elapsed time this is taking, especially in light of the fact the State is eager to brin resolution to these sites and Mom worries so much about the site. As I understand it, from requ,.st to do the test to wanting the corrective action plan submitted is one full year! I know there are administrative tasks and perhaps a new methodology had to be developed,but one year? This is how I understand the timing: . April 2010 County gave conditional approval to conduct the ozone bench-scale test (I don't know when it was requested) . October 2010 AGE forwarded test results to County with the recommendation that a corrective action plan be developed i , . January 2011 County concurred with the recommendation and directed the corrective action plan be submitted by April 2011 The test itself was 20 days Q day injection of ozone followed by a 13 day study of the aftereffects). We know that the County is responsible for many sites and that AGE has other work. However, we would ask that to the extent r ossible the elapsed time be reduced to as few days,weeks, and months as possible to bring resolution at the earliest possible date. Thanks.
