How will this alter the current Environmental Compliance process?
• Stores should utilize the smaller shoebox size
tote to place their damaged smoking
cessation products in.
• The bin should be placed on the current
shelving system between the two totes on the
second shelf from the floor.
• This bin will be for Smoking Cessation
products only.
• The Smoking Cessation bin should never have
more than 2 pounds worth of product inside.
• If your store is approaching this weight, place
a ticket in RESPOND immediately.
UNIVERSAL WASTE
• All stores should utilize one of the six 18
gallon totes for the universal waste they will
generate.
• Universal waste is typically electronic
products and batteries.
• Battery terminals must be taped prior to
being placed in a bag.
Please note: The process for placing products in the Environmental Compliance bins has not changed.
The only change is the additional bins. Labels for these categories are available with all other labels on
StoreNet.
